Feet

Someone come      take my      legs
I am tired            of walking
Trapped     in my         stride
Whilst I win          races in        my head
Water       me, gimme        sun and watch me bloom                 pain
Someone come take my legs
But         I’ll manage to        crawl
From my                 shadow
Into       light?
Lies!
Warm    cup, cold     hearts, tired        eyes
Who knew       words       could carry so much                soul
I wish       I           could take their                   legs
And        walk to you place               with no beds
